Memo - Red to Blue CA Team

To Interested Parties:

In order to Stop Trump and flip the House, we are targeting seven Republican members of Congress representing districts that Hillary Clinton won.

We are seeing energized Democratic and progressive voters in these districts -- a good early sign of enthusiasm, reflected by the data:

Last week we received poll numbers that show rightwing Republican Darrell Issa losing to his Democratic opponent by TEN points -- that’s great momentum!

We also got word that the political experts at the Cook Political Report have moved extreme Republican Dana Rohrabacher’s district from a “Lean Republican” seat to a pure “Tossup.” That’s amazing progress.

However, the fact remains that both Issa and Rohrabacher have more money than their Democratic opponents and deep ties to dark money special interests.

We need to make sure that our organization boosts our fundraising among progressive grassroots donors to make up the gap and beat these extreme Republicans and take back the House next year.
